Up the stairs

Sophia has learned how to climb the stairs this week! Previously, curiosity got her up a step or two, but this week Cupid walked up ahead of her and chasing her beloved kitty up the stairs was enough motivation to make it all the way to the top (with Daddy close behind of course). She slipped once when the kitty turned around and tried to go back down, but as soon as the kitty was rerouted back up the stairs, Sophia continues her climb. Now that she knows that she can do it, she loves to climb and gets in some good exercise at least once a day (always with Mom or Dad since she has not come even close to mastering climbing down the stairs).

Snacktime- eat a banana and shred (and spit out) some celery. Mommy had veggies for a snack while Sophia ate her banana, and she insists on trying what we eat. She doesn't like to eat raw veggies, but she enjoys chewing and shredding them.

Babylineup at a playdate this week. We all went to the same Mommy & Baby group right after they were born. They're all getting so big!
Painting a plate for Gramma-in-the-woods' birthday
Sophia was a good sport about having her hands painted and smooshed onto the plate. The hand prints came out pretty good too!
Sophia's newest past time is sorting and arranging her things. She often uses her blocks, but the other day she found her sweater and hat and spent at least 10 minutes putting them on the table, thowing them off, picking them up, and repeating.
