1 year old, oh my!

Playdate on a beautiful sunny day: Sophia, Chase and Delia had a wonderful time playing inside Chase's house and then we went for a walk!! We all enjoyed the brief, unseasonably warm day.
Chase is a big boy, a whole 2 months older than Sophia, so he decided that it was his job to push her around in his adorable little Winnie the Pooh car (which she loved!)


Look Uncle Justin, my Bruins jersey is fitting better. I'll be able to wear this in no time!

Sophia loved getting birthday cards in the mail!

On her actual birthday, Sophia got another cupcake after dinner (her party was the weekend before her birthday). We tried to be civilized and use her silverware set that her great-grandparents gave her for Christmas. Mommy fed her a bit on the spoon to show her how it works.
Sophia tried to scoop up some cake with her left hand...
Then she thought maybe the right hand would have better luck...
And then she discovered the foolproof way to get anything in her mouth- her hands! She finally got a nice big bite, once she licked all of the frosting off. She's got a sweet tooth, just like Mommy.

Who should I call today? Sophia loves to use the phone, and occasionally hangs up on people that Mom and Dad are talking to. Using the directory in the phone, she's managed to call Daddy a few times on her own.
Daddy left his Pepsi cup on the coffee table without watching it, and soon Sophia had made herself a nice big mess for him to clean up.
Daddy likes to drink this stuff. I wonder what it tastes like?
snuggling with Cupid- Sophia loves the feel of the kitties' soft fur on her face. She can be very gentle, and sometimes the poor kitties take a beating (and get a treat for putting up with it so nicely).
