Wedding Rehearsal

Christine and Mike's wedding rehearsal went very well, and then we all headed off to Polcari's Italian restaurant for a wonderful dinner. We ended up with more sunshine at the rehearsal than the wedding, but it all worked out. Don't they look excited to get married!
The happy couple finally got a chance to eat once we arrived at the restaurant! Christine had spent the day before and the day of the rehearsal BAKING HER OWN WEDDING CAKE, do she was exhausted! Mike's family had arrived the day before, so he had been kept busy entertaining them and keeping everyone out of Christine's kitchen. :)
The cake was beautiful and delicious, by the way, so I hope she felt that it was all worth it!
Axel and Sophia had lots of bonding time during the wedding weekend.



Sophia enjoyed the fun high chair cover that Gramma bought her- it even comes with it's own attached toys!
Sophia even leaned back in her chair and took a bottle from Daddy during dinner so Mommy could enjoy the night! What a good girl!

Sophia started getting fussy, so we put her up on Daddy's shoulders. This often cheers her up, and she started laughing as soon as she got her little hands into Daddy's curls.
Unfortunately, Sophia had apparently not completely gotten over the tummy virus that had made her sick a few days before the wedding. Nothing a little Pediasure (for Sophia) and a bath (for Daddy and Sophia) couldn't take care of! Thankfully, this was the last time that Sophia threw up- she was all better by the next morning and had a great weekend!
