Sophia went back and forth many times but finally decided that she wanted another monkey cake. Auntie Christine made her a monkey cake for her 2nd birthday but she said that she wanted Mommy to make her a new monkey cake this year.

Sophia was very excited about her party and her cake and singing Happy Birthday but was taken aback when everyone was watching her and waiting for her to blow out her candles. We blew out the candles together and then she happily dug in to a yummy plate of cake & ice cream.

Chase found Hannah's giraffe in the playroom and ran right off to find her and give it to her. He climbed up onto the couch with her. He's full of energy but so gentle with Hannah and such a sweet friend!

After her nap, Sophia opened up her new craft kit and made a fun caterpillar.
Sophia wore her party hat for several days and enjoyed having some leftover muffins for a snack after her nap.
So excited to have her own bike! Sophia has been asking for a bike "just like Dad's" for a while and had fun riding it around the house.
