We borrowed some Sesame Street DVDs from the library. One has a clip of David Beckham playing soccer with Elmo and Sophia is convinced that it is my cousin Matthew. She jumped up and down and excitedly pointed at the TV yelling "Mafroo, Mafroo!" the first time she saw it. I replayed the clip so that I could get it on video and she was a bit more subdued, but still in awe to see "Matthew" on TV playing with Elmo. She already liked Matthew, but he has now become even more fascinating! :)
For a reference point, here are some photos from Great-Aunt Laura's birthday party. Matthew is seated in front here, on the couch next to Christopher, who Sophia also thinks is very cool. She seems to be amazed by older men....
