Happy Halloween

Flap, flap, flap

Sophia and Daddy's first trick-or-treating. We had a beautifully mild night and enjoyed trick-or-treating along Gramma's street.
Look at all that candy! Good thing chocolate melts in your mouth. Sophia can't decide what to try first.

While she isn't crawling on her hands and knees yet, Sophia has been working on her scooting and army-crawling and is able to get around much faster. We have converted the open shelving in the living room into toy shelves so that at least she won't pull out anything she shouldn't have. She does seem to like to take inventory of the toys and have them all out to see at once.
Sophia has had a bit of a cold this week (Daddy brought it home from work and passed it around to all of us). To help her relax before church, Daddy gave her a nice shoulder massage. It must have worked because she slept through the whole ride in the car.
Backwards scooting can get Sophia all over the hardwood floors, even under the couch.
Our budding musician- she loves to bang on her drums, sing and buzz her lips like a trumpet.
Since Sophia doesn't like to keep her socks on her feet have been getting a bit chilly. She has 2 pairs of shoes to put an extra layer on those toes, but somehow the shoes also end up in her mouth.
