Happy Birthday Daddy!

We just celebrated Axel's 30th birthday! To celebrate, Axel took a personal day off of work. We started the day with Sophia's swim lesson where she and Daddy had lots of fun in the pool. Too bad we forgot the camera. :( While we had plans to go rollerskating and out to dinner with friends, we got lost and instead treated Axel to a birthday dinner at Fuddruckers.
Sophia is no longer happy just sitting- she is now trying to pull herself up whenever she gets the chance! Time to do some major babyproofing.


Sophia now has her 4 front teeth! We had a little trouble when the last 2 came through, but it wasn't as bad as the first 2. Axel showed her how to make fun crunching noises when she chews Cheerios with her teeth and she still chews on anything that makes its way into her mouth.


We haven't gotten snow yet, but it's been cold this week! Luckily the snowsuit that Gramma bought Sophia last year fits perfectly. It kept her nice and cozy while we went out for a walk to the store.

The morning after Thanksgiving we headed off to the YMCA for Sophia's swimming lesson. It was a bit chilly, but she had a brand new hat from Dottie to keep her warm. Too bad there was a chemical balance problem in the pool that canceled swimming lessons. Sophia was very confused when we left without getting in the pool. Good thing she still got to splash around in the tub at night.
While we were watching the Patriots game after church, Gramma brought out this year's crazy Christmas hat. Sophia was amazed and watched Gramma with her mouth hanging open.
What's that crazy thing on your head Gramma? It keeps bouncing around!
