4 Months Old!

Sophia had her 4 month doctor's appointment today. She is now 15 pounds and 35.75 inches long, so she has grown 6 inches and put on almost 9 pounds since she was born! We had to endure 3 shots again, which was traumatizing for both of us, but Sophia was the only one who cried this month- Mommy was very brave. She's been taking Tylenol to keep off a fever and hopefully tomorrow she'll be good as new. Otherwise, she has been doing well. She loves to talk and laugh and has a very ticklish neck, armpits, tummy, and feet. She loves to sit up on Mom and Dad's laps and also enjoys standing on our legs to test out her strength. She has also found a new use for her dresses- peek-a-boo! She pulls her dress up to her eyes to let me know that she's ready to play, and smiles and laughs. So much fun!! :)

Sophia looks very cute in blue (just like Auntie Christine)! It makes her blue eyes look extra beautiful!

Sophia enjoys talking to her rain forest buddies when she wakes up from her naps. Some mornings she doesn't even fuss- she just talks and talks until I come in to feed her.
Sophia is really enjoying sitting up, but she still needs support. (She kind of falls forward face to feet on her own.) She likes hanging out with Daddy.

Since Sophia likes sitting up, we decided to try out her high chair during dinner time. She was very happy in her chair. Daddy felt bad eating a hamburger without offering her any, so he decided to share. That's a big burger for a little girl, but she's got a good appetite! We're skipping past rice cereal and going right to the good stuff. Yummy!
