4 Months Old!

Sophia is now 4 months old! Time has just flown by! It is getting nice out around here, so we've been able to spend a lot more time outside. Sophia enjoys babbling, especially to Mom, Dad, and the birds in the backyard. She laughs a lot now, which is fun for all of us, and has decided that dresses are her favorite clothes...not only are they cute, they taste good too! Sophia puts anything she can grab into her mouth- her fists are always a good choice, followed by her clothes, blankets, toys, and anyone else's fingers that she can bring close enough to get a good chew.

Here she is all set in her stroller for a nice long walk with Mommy. She loves looking up at the trees and listening to the birds chirp. Yea springtime!
Sophia is ready for summer! Here she is in her stroller at the mall after we found these adorable sunglasses and sunhat (with SPF 50+ to protect her fair baby skin). She smiled as soon as I put them on her, but that might have been because I was laughing at her. :)

If dresses weren't meant to be pulled up, then they wouldn't come with such cute diaper covers! Besides, Sophia likes to show off her tummy in hopes of getting raspberries and kisses.

Saturday, Mommy went out for a haircut (the first time I left home alone since Sophia was born) and Sophia had an afternoon with Daddy. She put him right to work in the yard working on seeding the edge of the lawn. Good thing she stayed out there as a supervisor!
Luckily, Daddy's new boss allowed him to take a little break.

Sophia has graduated from the sink to the tub for her baths. The first bath she sat in her seat, but later in the week Daddy decided to climb in with her. She seemed to enjoy the tub much more with company!
