It has taken us a long time, but we finally made it to Great-Dot's for a visit! Great-Gramma came with us and we had a wonderful afternoon! We played, had lunch complete with cupcakes & frozen yogurt for dessert and Sophia got a painting lesson and tried out Dot's piano.
Hannah loved every minute!
Sophia, thrilled beyond words to get a chocolate cupcake & frozen yogurt after lunch! What a treat!
After lunch, Sophia noticed Great-Dot's paints in the corner and was thrilled to be offered a painting lesson! She felt so grown-up to get to paint with Dot's own watercolor paints and we had to cut her off after her third picture. 
Sophia was great at following directions. Paint, rinse her brush, choose another color, repeat. 
Dot checking in with Hannah- a very happy observer. 
Dot's genius idea to dry the paintings for our ride home- a hair dryer! We'll have to try that next time we paint at playgroup. 
Sophia served everyone a pretend cup of tea before we hit the road.
