Welcome cousin Zachary!

Zachary George was born 3 and a half weeks early on July 30 at 6 pounds 6 ounces! We were all very excited to meet our newest family member.

Great-Grampa & Great-Gramma were thrilled to be in town when Zachary was born!

Zachary feels even smaller than he is after carrying Hannah around all the time! I can't believe it's been 7 months since Hannah was almost this small.

Sunday we all went to the hospital so that Axel & the girls could meet Zachary. Sophia was amazed by how tiny her little cousin is and was a bit nervous about touching him.

Sophia climbed up on Auntie Christine's bed to get a closer look at Zachary.

time for a diaper change- Christine & Mike have plenty of those ahead of them! :) Sophia was very concerned that Zachary was crying in his crib.

Now that they have been home for the hospital for a little bit, we went over to visit Christine & Zachary. Sophia was trying to be helpful, looking for toys and cups for Zachary to play with. I'm sure he'll be more appreciative when he gets older.

After asking all morning if Zachary wanted to go in his playmat, Sophia was thrilled to play with him just before we had to leave. She offered toys, tickled his toes and let him grab her finger.

Hannah was exhausted from playing with all of Zachary's toys (she chewed each one to be sure that they were safe for her new cousin) and ended the morning with a nap snuggled on Gramma's shoulder.
