We had fun celebrating the fourth of July with friends. While everyone was happy & dressed up we took advantage of the situation and tried to get some family photos.
Getting ready for the parade
Here come the fire trucks. Auntie Christine & Dad covered Sophia's ears while Mom took Hannah back to the house until the sirens had all past. 
Sophia watched the whole parade very carefully, taking it all in. 
Sophia got a lollipop from one of the floats and clutched it and her water bottle while sitting safely on Dad's lap.
The pony was interesting to look at but she didn't want to get close enough to touch it. 
What's coming next? More fire trucks, which is while Hannah's ears are covered in anticipation of the sirens.

Sophia had a ball playing with Nate! She hasn't seen him since they danced at Andrew's wedding last October but they picked right up where they left off.

Happy birthday Nathan! Sophia was very happy to end the day with some birthday cake.
