Although she had no idea that it was Christmas or that the day would be unlike a regular day, Sophia, who usually gets up around 8:00, woke up at 5:30 am! Axel tried to get her to go back to sleep by bring his pillow and a blanket up to her room and lying down on the floor next to her crib, but she was up for good. Needless to say, after a few hours, before anyone had arrived, she was quite sleepy. However, she was wonderful all day long! She had a great Christmas morning with mom & dad, brunch with Gramma, Great grandparents, Gregg & Paula, and Christmas afternoon & dinner with the whole Harmer clan!
Sophia quickly caught on to opening presents. Here she's reading an animal touch & feel book with Dad from Grandma in the woods.
