Moving Day has come and gone

After 11 months on the market, we have now officially sold our house! We had a crazy week of moving but we are all moved into Gramma's house and have a storage unit packed full of our stuff. Things are a bit squishy in the house now- Gramma, Uncle Michael, Mommy, Daddy, Sophia, Jedi (Gramma's dog), Comet & Cupid (our cats) all live on the main floor, Auntie Christine & Uncle Mike live in the basement apartment until they close on their new house next month, and Great-Gramma & Great-Grampa live in the inlaw apartment across the breezeway! Sophia has had some trouble adjusting to sleeping in the same room as Mom and Dad and we have only had 2 nights so far where she hasn't been up most of the night crying. So besides being crammed into the house, those of us on the main floor are all sleep-deprived and a bit cranky. But we're hopeful that things will settle down and life will get easier soon. On the positive side, Sophia especially loves having so many people around!

Enjoying a snuggle with Cupid- Sophia missed her kitties when they were at the old house during our first few days and was thrilled when they were reunited!

Helping Mom with the laundry- since Gramma's laundry is in a cabinet off the kitchen, Sophia is able to help load up the washer. She loves to help and Mommy loves to cut down on the bending to pick stuff up off the floor.

Enjoying a delicious fruit basket from Pam, our realtor, to celebrate the closing of our house sale on Thursday. It even arrived right at snack time!

Sophia has been very happy to be able to play in her car seat. Since we have been borrowing different family cars each day, we keep her carseat in a corner in the breezeway & Sophia loves climbing in and trying to get on her buckles. Nice way to keep her busy and happy while Mommy tries to unpack!

Gramma & Auntie Christine found Sophia an adorable baby doll stroller on moving day. She loves pushing her baby doll (which Gramma made for Mommy when I was little) around the house, driveway, and out on walks.
