Well, Sophia has entered her first New Years with a cold that has caused her first ear infection. :( We went to the doctor on New Years day(just a cold) and again yesterday (Monday-right ear is infected). Hopefully she will clear up quickly with the antibiotics. Thankfully, the medicine must taste great, because Sophia is excited as soon as she sees it and cries for more once she gets her dose.
Since Sophia is now too tall for her infant car seat, she got a new one for Christmas. She took a little nap in the car, snuggled up with her new doll from Gramma, when we went out to run some errands. Looks like she needs a pillow for that poor little neck!
Sophia has lots of fun reading her new big Look and See book from cousins Emma, Matthew, and AJ.

I think I could climb these stairs! Sophia has managed to climb to the second step, with Daddy close behind her, of course.
Climbing thwarted by the baby gate.
Checking out the snow with Mommy. We bundled up and went outside while Daddy shoveled. Sophia was not too impressed with the snow. She much prefers to watch it from the window inside.
Too cold and wet! Maybe next year playing in the snow will be more fun.

Sophia's favorite finger foods include bread and cheese, along with Cheerios and Kix, of course.
